OTHER PEOPLE'S THINGS NEVER FIT YOU RIGHT
Michael Kupperman—where have you been my whole life. You. Magnificent. BASTARD. After the De-Lite that was Tales Designed to Thrizzle #2, I picked up the upROARious #1 as soon as I could find it. Yesterday I stumbled upon an earlier book of his, Snake 'n' Bacon's Cartoon Cabaret. Clearly, the groove has been in this man's heart for SOME TIME. It's is the same type of material as can be found in the Thrizzle's. It is the only comic that makes me laugh the way Carl makes me laugh.
Showcase Presents: Jonah Hex There is now a holy trinity of westerns where before there was but a duo. Once Upon a Time in the West and mutherassfuckin' Deadwood can now welcome thes hyar skunk, Jonah Hex, in their hallowed halls atop Mt. Olympus, just a days ride past Two-Horse Junction. Gorgeousgorgeousgorgeous art from Tony DeZuñiga, lots of backstabbing, lots of lonerism and so much killing you'd never believe the West was ever settled.
Infinite Crisis #5 has a mad-as-shit Oldetimey Superman, Propeller Invisible Plane, Anti-Monitor Superboy, poorly photoshopped exploding Earths, a cameo from Communist Superman, Pink-shirt Lex Luthor, Earth-8 and a Mr. Terrific conversation cool enough to make you forget he has a stupid T-face. Actually, I think I'd gladly except the T-Face if it was red or green or something. Then it might be a righteous T-face.

The Ordaway art is a bit... I can see what they're going for. One might think it's oldtimes-style if one never saw oldtimes comics.

I don't know. I'm really not reading it for quality. The writing is pretty crap too. There's no scope. No sense of what's happening. Too much of the story is happening in other books. It's like the first Crisis!
true. I guess in comparison to other more jimenezy art, but i suppose that is because of deadlines
There's three pencillers on the book.
Jimmenz for not stop sucking until he gets a compitent inker again. But this guy is his inker of choice (X-Men, Otherworld, Crisieses)
